U know - i actually dont care mucg but 1 thing that should be considered here is the fact that DMC responded instantly to the ka-tet agression with the combined force of them and 2 hostile alliances. I just looked at the other thread and it seems that it was created right while the ka-tet were comming. And right in the first posts it says that atlas and ci are with DMC on this. Ahm... was RA even contacted? How much time did RA get to respond? 5 mins? It seems all was decided beforehand. And i suppose thats what nuns means when he says - well they seem not to need our protection anymore. So we have the siding with hostiles against a long time ally combined with trashtalk from the executor of DMC - that makes some deadly angry russians. Thats more than enough for giving green light for some pew pew.

Indeed you are right, it seems that it was decided beforehand. Especially when an RA fellow in this thread posts "when 2 blues fighting the rest stays out". How does this NOT conflict with a lifetime protection? So they will only protect DMC against those who are red to RA? People on the good side of RA are free to toss DMC out of their space without any protests from RA?

That DMC got help from neighbours is hardly surprising, and on top of that, I don't really know what you expect them to do? Shoot both Ka-Tet, ATLAS AND CI? That would definately be suicidal.

I love the way that all carebear alliances die on the forums.
Stage 1, carebear alliance is attacked: WHAT DO WE DO?!
Stage 2, chest beating internal posts by leaders: DONT WORRY GUYS. I'll TAKE CARE OF THIS. *runs to eve-o to whine about backstabbing*
Stage 3, Delusional members post choice quotes about smashing the enemy and never surrendering
Stage 4, 3 weeks later everyone is in empire crying and auctioning off their belongings by contract

I think this is more a result of people being too lenient in the first place, most of the blues in eve right now are directly related to the war on bob and people are looking for excuses to reset everyone and everything around them.

Also not ****ing off ra (and probably not giving them ??bil isk + some supercaps) is probably a good way to stay alive, RA is cold and businesslike in its approach, dont say you didnt know beforehand.

Edit: lol at dastomy calling DICE one of the best corps in eve.. you never were too bright back in FLA

To give few anwswers:

-DMC wont loos 2 titans and we do have pilots
-DMC didnt and had NO intention to sell titans to any of RA hostiles! Remember they were offered to RA at first, and we tried to actually sell them to XIX and nearlly got scamed (but if there is need we prolly can do it now)
-someone asked was it worth it; DAMND right it was! It was worht it. Seling under mineral cost would make us without sence/honor/pride/respect/freedom and we decided that those worth more!

Therefore again RA can take ower our claimed space - but eve comunity got clear msg and picture who u have to deal with! Yes for that it was worth it! Even in worse case scenario lets do the math:
4 mses = 80 bil 4 outposts = 80 bil ergo we r loosing 160 bil! We r loosing what we offered them; we offered RA our space and we gave RA 4 MSes; but we keep 2 titans! We keep freedom, we keep pride.

So yea - would do it again - with skiping the part ever tried to belive RA will protect us! There goes mine baner again!
